About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented individual to join our team. The successful candidate will support day-to-day administrative operations, focusing on tender submissions, supplier quotations, and ensuring company compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with compiling and submitting tender documents
- Request and follow up on supplier quotations
- Maintain records of bid documents, submissions, and feedback
- Track compliance requirements (e.g. CSD, CIDB, COIDA, Tax Clearance, B-BBEE certificates)
- Keep filing systems (both digital and paper) neat and up to date
- Maintain a database of service providers, pricing, and documentation
- Follow up on deadlines and tender updates
- Assist with general administrative tasks as required (e.g. email correspondence, report formatting, etc.)
Minimum Requirements
- Matric certificate
- At least 1–2 years’ experience in an administrative or office support role
- Basic knowledge of tenders and procurement processes (public and/or private sector)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
Advantageous (Not Required)
- Experience working with HVAC, construction, or engineering companies
- Familiarity with online tender portals (e.g. eTenders, CSD, CIDB)
- Valid driver’s license
