Description
We are seeking passionate and driven Afrikaans lecturer for the following subjects at the FET (Grade 10–12) level:
- Afrikaans and English
- Economie
- Religie
- Geskiedenis
- Geografie
- Besigheidstudies
- Rekeningkunde
You will play a critical role in delivering academic support, content, and guidance to our students while communicating fluently in Afrikaans.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Marking and giving constructive feedback on student assignments
- Developing and providing engaging academic content for Telegram study groups
- Responding to subject-specific queries from various platforms (Telegram, email, WhatsApp, phone call) within the same day
- Creating short academic video tutorials in Afrikaans for specific subjects
- Supporting at-risk students with additional guidance
- Reporting and improving issues in the course material
- Collaborating with the publishing team when needed
The Ideal Candidate Must:
- Have strong administrative and organisational skills
- Be fluent in Afrikaans (spoken and written)
- Be a team player with leadership potential
- Be self-motivated, professional, and student-centered
- Have a passion for teaching and supporting students
- Hold at least a Matric certificate (Teaching qualification or current B.Ed student beneficial)
- Be willing to learn and grow within the role

- Salary Range: from R11,000 per month going up (depending on qualification and experience)
