Eduvos is looking to hire the services of an Independent Contractor, Agricultural Sciences and Biotechnology Lecturer at our Midrand campus on a part-time basis.
Type of appointment:
Independent Contractor (part-time; flexible workhours agreement)
Purpose:
- To lecture Applied Sciences-related modules, in the faculty on a part-time (contractual) basis.
- To assist in the administration and departmental affairs and activities as required by the academic department.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum qualifications required:
- Minimum: MSc in agricultural biotechnology, agricultural sciences, plant science, biotechnology or other relevant field
Experience:
- Relevant lecturing experience
- Necessary knowledge of higher education practices and processes
- Relevant research experience
Duties and Responsibilities
Modules to be lectured:
Agricultural Biotechnology lecturer with specialty in:
- Agricultural Economics
- Plant Physiology
- Ethnobotany
- Plant Propagation
- Environmental and Industrial Biotechnology
- Animal and Plant Biology
Responsibilities:
