Novus Print: Montague Gardens is seeking to appoint an Artisan Assistant (Semi-Skilled Electrician) to assist the Electrical Artisans within the Technical and Engineering department. The successful incumbent will report to the Foreman: Electrical.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform basic electrical repairs, lighting etc.
- Provide assistance to artisans
- Adhering to all health and safety requirements related to observing
- Equipment and machinery to verify efficient and safe operation
- Carry out repairs on electrical equipment in the electrical workshop
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the electrical workshop
Educational Requirements
- Grade 12
- N3 - N4 Technical Certificate
Experience Requirements
- Extensive experience in the use of hand and power tools is essential
- Experience in a similar role
- 1-2 years’ experience in FMCG environment
