We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Contact Centre Agent to join our team. As a Contact Centre Agent, you will have the opportunity to assist clients and internal staff with enquiries in order to deliver a satisfying, professional and hustle free services to customers and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide professional customer service support for queries related to microbiology, chemistry, and diagnostic testing services.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support the sales team and Stakeholders with their queries.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of our testing services to better assist customers.
- Quote, Update and maintain customer records in the CRM database.
- Work closely with the microbiology, chemistry, and diagnostic teams to stay updated on service offerings.
- Responsible for the answering of customer questions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Establish good relationships with clients, suppliers and internal staff.
- Call clients to verify if they require any services/assistants from the company.
- ADHOC duties.
- Matric.
- Basic understanding of Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or Food Technology (advantageous).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise.
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in a call centre/sales role.
- Experience in the Food Safety industry and working in a Food Safety testing lab environment will be advantageous.
- Computer literacy (MS Office).
- Demonstrate teamwork as a valued team player.
- Preference will be given to employment equity candidates.
