Job objectives:
Production and equipment identification, in the belting workshop and onsite belt splicing.
- To measure and cut the correct belt to the required length.
- To prepare the join area and join the belt, in the workshop and on site.
- Correct handling of stock transfers, cutting, measurements & storage
- To ensure proper housekeeping.
- To work overtime as required and do standby.
- Work with team leaders to prepare and install belting to customers satisfaction.
- Ability to do the job, all splicing techniques & related job knowledge i.e. Belt cutting & Modular
- Ensure all splicing techniques and other job-related accountabilities are timeously completed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- 3 Years Belting work experience.
- Splicing knowledge preferred.
- Belting knowledge would be advantageous.
- Belt splicing manufacturing experience in both heavy and light duty of modular.
