Midvaal Structures is seeking an experienced and hands-on Construction Foreman to oversee site operations across our earthworks, brickwork, and structural steel projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing teams, ensuring safety and quality standards, and delivering work on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities and crews
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety regulations
- Monitor progress and provide daily reports to the project manager
- Manage materials, equipment, and subcontractors on site
- Resolve site-related issues and troubleshoot delays or disruptions
- Maintain quality control and ensure construction meets required standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in construction, with strong exposure to earthworks, brickwork, and structural steel
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to manage teams effectively
- Preference will be given to candidates based in Johannesburg South
