Midvaal Structures is looking for a skilled and proactive Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion, with a strong focus on earthworks, brickwork, and structural steel. This role requires a well-organized individual with excellent leadership, technical, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and manage multiple construction projects
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, suppliers, and site staff
- Oversee budgets, timelines, procurement, and contract compliance
- Ensure adherence to health & safety standards and construction regulations
- Conduct site visits and provide guidance to foremen and teams
- Track project progress and report to company management
- Solve technical and logistical challenges throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management
- Solid background in earthworks, brickwork, and structural steel projects
- Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills
- Proficient in reading plans, managing timelines and budgets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Must be solution-driven and detail-oriented
- Preference will be given to candidates based in Johannesburg South
