We are seeking an experienced Content Services Manager with a proven background in leading large-scale content migration efforts and managing content teams. This is a fully remote position based in South Africa, where you will work collaboratively with global teams and stakeholders.
In this role, you will oversee the delivery of content migration and management solutions for clients. You will be tasked with planning, organizing, and executing content-specific activities while ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of content teams. As the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and project stakeholders, your focus will be on maintaining clear communication, achieving high-quality outcomes, and driving continuous service enhancements.

Responsibilities
- Manage and lead content teams, ensuring responsibilities are distributed effectively, performance is tracked, and goals are well-defined
- Create and implement strategies for successful content migrations, including onboarding plans, workflows, KPI frameworks, and reporting mechanisms
- Act as the central escalation point for addressing challenges raised by clients or internal teams
- Oversee governance across all services, including resource planning, forecasting, delivery, and ongoing improvement initiatives
- Provide regular insights on service performance through in-depth reviews, reports, and data analysis
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align on project goals, priorities, and timelines
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in content management, ideally with exposure to multinational or multi-brand clients
- Proven track record of managing complex content migration projects, including transitions between platforms such as Sitecore to AEM or WordPress to Contentful
- Deep knowledge of content migration methodologies, tools, and team roles
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop remote, cross-functional teams with an emphasis on collaboration and motivation
- Expertise in building scalable workflows, documentation processes, and performance tracking systems
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Exceptional client-facing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong attention to detail paired with a commitment to driving continuous improvement
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel (advanced formulas and pivot tables), PowerPoint (workshops and presentations), and Word (structured documentation and templates)
