Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serving customers and taking customer orders – knowledgeable, pleasant and friendly manner
- Ensuring customers are satisfied
- Give customer receipt
- Printing labels for products
- Efficiently pack all products in correct packaging and according to specs
- Give customers food items
- Follow production plan
- Displaying goods are per merchandising standards and ensure display is always filled
- Operating scale machine and slicer
- Traceability
- Stock take and checks and monitoring
- Inform supervisor of low stock
- Replenishing stock
- In store promotions (advertising and pricing)
- Check sell by dates and expiry dates
- Control waste product
- House keeping
- Quality control & hygiene
- Adhere to SOP’s as well as health and safety procedures
- Personal hygiene
- Clean as you go and counter are to be cleaned
- Wearing of correct uniform
- Correct cleaning equipment to be used
