We are an established property management company in Cape Town and are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our Head Office on a full time basis.
The ideal candidate would have 2 years experience or more in a similar position or environment, with references. Experience in Sectional Title management would be a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Managing levy account mailbox by responding timeously and professionally to email queries
Raising adjustments on owners levy accounts as instructed by the Portfolio Managers
Assisting with the allocation of levy payment receipts on a daily basis, and as and when required
Liaising with attorneys regarding transfers of ownership and hand over matters
Capturing and importing of electricity and water meter readings and following up with meter reading companies if required
Coordinating monthly levy run processes to ensure that all deadlines are met for the distribution of levy invoices/statements
Skills:
Knowledge of accounting principles
Familiar with the Debt Collectors Act
Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office with strong typing skills
