Job Description
The main purpose of the role is to manage and optimize the team performance of a team of credit analysts.
Are you someone who can:
- Establish, align and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs
- Achieve team targets (maximize productivity within quality framework)
- Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
- Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
- Continuously monitor team’s compliance to credit quality and implement improvements where required
- Plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent and culture of team in order to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies.
- Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback and request training where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Matric
- BCom Accounting (Preferred)
- 4-5 Years' Credit risk experience
- Financial statement spreading and reviewing experience as well as knowledge of the Credit Value chain.
- Project management experience relating to automation and efficiencies.
