Job Purpose
Provincial Treasury, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to promote, support and develop supply chain management (SCM) capacity, through institutional, organisational, individual and stakeholder development.
Minimum Requirements
An appropriate 3 year B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification) in Financial Management, Accounting, Commerce or Public Administration; A minimum of 3 years junior management experience in procurement client support facing and capacity building; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence. NB: People with disabilities that restrict driving abilities, but who have reasonable access to transport, may also apply.
Recommendation
Experience working within a Client Support environment with diverse clientele.

Competencies
Knowledge of the following: Public sector SCM legislation, policies and procedures; Customer relationship management (CRM) software; Financial management (PFMA, Municipal Finance Management Act (MFMA) and Treasury Regulations) and project management; Interpretation of financial information.
Skills needed: Writing and reporting; Delivering results and meeting customer expectations; Analysing; Adapting and responding to change; Learning and researching; Written and verbal communication skills.
Remuneration
All-inclusive salary package of R 896 436 per annum (Salary Level 11)
Note on remuneration in addition service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
Notes
Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting.
