Truworths, one of South Africa’s leading fashion retailers, is offering an amazing opportunity for Graduates seeking a workplace experience Internship. We have an exciting Internship opportunity, in our Truworths Africa Design Division, for National Diploma NQF6: Clothing & Textile Technology Graduates. In this role you will be trained and working closely with the Patternmakers, Sample Room, Garment Technologists, Designers, Merchandisers, Production Planners, Fabric and Trims Buyers. This opportunity is based at our Head Office in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn in the exciting space of Merchandisers, Production Planners, Fabric and Trims Buyers. • Learn in the exciting space of Pattern Making • Understand the complexity of garment construction • Opportunity to make both manual and digital patterns • Understand the importance of building relationships with Sample Machinists, Garment Technologists, Buyers and Designers to achieve desired outcomes • Work closely with expert trainer/s and industry leaders • Administration

Qualifications and Experience

• A passion for the world of fashion and manufacturing processes • Final year or recently graduated, in National Diploma in Clothing & Textile Technology
