We’re currently hiring on behalf of a U.S.-based client in the Money Lending Services industry. The client is looking for a highly detail-oriented Email Support Specialist to assist with shared inbox management and internal email processing.
NB – Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00am to 18:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) (15:00pm to 00:00am South African Standard Time (SAST). These hours are subject to change in accordance with daylight saving time in the United States.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Work Environment: This is a remote role for South African Citizens only
- Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download), with wired Ethernet connectivity is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line CANNOT be considered
- Power Backup: A reliable backup solution for load shedding and outages is required. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a shared email inbox used by the internal team.
- Review incoming emails from external lending companies and:
- Route them to the correct brokers internally.
- Log relevant information into internal systems or databases.
- Loop in appropriate internal contacts to ensure follow-ups and responses.
- No external email communication or customer voice interaction — this role is strictly internal and email-based.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong reading comprehension.
- Exceptional logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to analyze and categorize different types of email inquiries and act accordingly.
- Sound judgment and the ability to apply past learning to similar new scenarios.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems.
- Comfortable navigating MS Office and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new systems and follow structured workflows.
- Background or familiarity in finance or accounting will be advantageous but not essential.
