Our client, a leader in the private healthcare industry, is urgently looking for an experienced Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary with proven work experience all general wards. This is a permanent position at a private hospital in Panorama in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town

Minimum Requirements
- Valid SANC
- Higher certificate in nursing (or equivalent)
- Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses for specific speciality areas ( will serve as an advantage)
- 1 year post qualification experience
- 1 year post qualification experience in theatre (will serve as an advantage)
- Infection prevention and control
- Basic Life Support
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Regulations regarding the Scope of Practice for Nurses and Midwives
- Relevant nursing legislation
- Scientific nursing process
- Risk identification
- Nursing procedures
- Patient observation skills
Duties and Responsibilities
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To deliver safe, basic nursing care according to Scope of Practice
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Deliver basic nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
- Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety
- Contribute to a positive patient experience by assisting in the creation of a therapeutic environment
- Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions
- Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence
- Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charted
