Educational Qualifications:
Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering,
Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.

in Environmental Management, ESG, Corporate Governance, Climate Change, or Sustainable

Professional Experience:
Minimum Experience: At least 5–7 years of progressive experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate responsibility, or environmental management roles, preferably within the energy, nuclear, chemical, or advanced manufacturing sectors.
Demonstrated Expertise In:
Designing and executing ESG strategies across complex, regulated environments
Leading sustainability reporting aligned with GRI, SASB, TCFD, and CDP frameworks
Managing ESG compliance under South African legislation (e.g., NEMA, Companies Act, King IV Report)
Conducting carbon footprint assessments and managing Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions
Advising executive leadership on ESG risks, climate change, and stakeholder expectations
Coordinating cross-functional ESG initiatives involving HSE, Legal, HR, Engineering, and Finance
