Job Title: Events Coordinator

A JHB-based Event Management company has a vacancy for a dynamic and detail-oriented Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of events with 10 years’ experience. This role involves creating memorable and engaging experiences that align with our company’s culture, values, and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful event management and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint mandatory.
What You will Do
Project & Event Coordination
- Manage day-to-day event logistics from concept to delivery.
- Break down complex projects into detailed task lists, timelines, and workflows
Stakeholder & Supplier Management
- Source, negotiate with and manage local suppliers and venues
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
- Manage budgets, invoicing and documentation for all event projects
Client Engagement
- Attend client meetings and virtual calls; take clear actions and follow-ups
- Respond to client requests with clarity, professionalism and urgency
- Support senior team members in preparing pitches, presentations and reports
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years’ experience in event coordination
- Strong project management skills – you love breaking big ideas into small tasks
- Clear written and verbal communication, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with multiple simultaneous projects and tight deadlines
- Confidence in managing suppliers and clients professionally
- Resilient under pressure, especially with demanding clients and high standards
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel
