Job Overview:
The Facility Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and efficient. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and leadership skills, as well as experience in facility management and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive facility management plan.
2. Oversee maintenance and repair operations for the facility.
3. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
4. Manage facility budgets and expenses.
5. Supervise facility staff and contractors.
6. Coordinate with other departments to meet facility needs.
7. Develop and implement sustainability initiatives.
8. Implement preventive maintenance programs.
9. Handle emergency situations and crises effectively.
10. Keep accurate records and documentation related to facility maintenance.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management.
3. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
4. Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
5. Experience in budget management and cost control.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software.
