The Faculty Office plays a key role in supporting the academic programme and providing administrative excellence.
We are currently seeking a self-motivated, committed, competent, and suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Faculty Officer to provide administrative support to the Faculty Office in respect of all Faculty administrative processes, in order to ensure alignment and compliance with central administrative systems and procedures; and to provide a professional support service to academics, students and staff.
Reporting to the Faculty Manager, the appointee will be responsible for the following key performance areas in both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate student academic cycle:
- Academic Administration
- Marks Administration
- Enquiry Management
- Committee Administration
- Marketing, Branding and Student Recruitment
- Events Management
- Reports
- General and meeting Administration
- A Degree or equivalent at NQF level 7
- At least three years relevant experience in a Higher Education environment
- Experience in student administration and the student life-cycle
- Working knowledge of a student enrolment management system / University systems
- Proficiency in computer programmes/software packages e.g. Word; Excel / MS Office Suites / PowerPoint, Microsoft 365 copilot.
The following would be advantageous:
- Experience with postgraduate academic administration
- Experience in Human Resources and Financial Administration
