Camphill Village West Coast, a dynamic community supporting adults with intellectual disabilities, is seeking a skilled and experienced Estate Manager to oversee the daily operations of our farm and estate.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and care for our herd of Jersey cows, ensuring high standards of animal welfare.
· Oversee agricultural and horticultural activities across the estate.
· Ensure all health and safety protocols are implemented and adhered to.
· Supervise, guide, and support staff members in their daily duties.
· Maintain and manage all estate infrastructure, farm equipment, and vehicles.
Requirements:
· Relevant qualifications and proven experience in dairy herd management.
· Strong background in agriculture and horticulture with 5 years experience.
· Knowledge of health and safety standards in an agricultural setting.
· Excellent leadership and people-management skills.
· Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
· Drivers license with own vehicle.
