An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified, dynamic and innovative educator to join our team as an experienced FET Mathematics Teacher, responsible for teaching Grades 10 to 12.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or appropriate professional qualification
- SACE registration (applicants must include a certified copy of their SACE registration)
- Fully computer literate
- Significant experience teaching Mathematics at FET level (Grades 10–12)
Preferred Attributes:
It would be advantageous if candidates have:
- The ability and willingness to add value to the extra-curricular aspects of the College (sport, cultural activities, clubs, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong classroom management and mentoring abilities
- Enthusiasm and commitment to learner success
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Grades 10 to 12
- Implement lessons in line with CAPS curriculum requirements
- Maintain an inclusive, disciplined and supportive classroom environment
- Participate in school events and professional development initiatives
- Manage all relevant administrative tasks (assessments, reports, learner progress tracking)
- Contribute actively to the College’s extra-curricular programme
