Role Overview
As a Financial Adviser within an Old Mutual franchise, you will provide tailored financial solutions to individuals, families, and small businesses. Operating under a globally recognized brand, you will leverage Old Mutual’s resources while enjoying the autonomy of a franchise model. Your role focuses on fostering financial security through expert advice on investments, insurance, retirement planning, and wealth management.
This is a remote work position. Remuneration is based solely on commission.

Minimum Requirements:
- Relevant financial qualification at NQF 5 level
- At least 2 years’ experience as a financial adviser
- FAIS Compliant - Regulatory Examination (RE5) and/or relevant FSCA recognised tertiary qualification
- Clear Credit Record

Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Conduct consultations to understand clients’ financial goals, risk tolerance, and life stages. Offer personalized strategies using Old Mutual’s products
- Sales & Business Development: Meet sales targets by acquiring new clients and expanding relationships with existing ones. Promote franchise growth through local networking, community involvement, and marketing initiatives.
- Compliance: Adhere to regulatory standards and Old Mutual’s compliance frameworks. Ensure all advice aligns with legal and ethical guidelines.
- Financial Planning: Analyze clients’ financial statuses to recommend tax-efficient investments, estate and risk planning
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, product changes, and regulatory shifts via Old Mutual’s training programs.
- Technology Utilization: Use CRM systems and financial tools to track client interactions and optimize planning processes.
