Role Overview
As a Fire Protection Assistant, you will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection systems. You’ll ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, compile fire risk assessments, and help maintain high-quality project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate fire protection technicians to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
Conduct on-site assessments and provide guidance to improve team performance.
Manage inventory of materials and equipment for fire protection projects.
Perform routine safety inspections and enforce safety protocols.
Communicate with contractors and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare and submit progress and risk management reports.
Stay updated on fire protection technologies and industry standards.
Requirements
2–3 years of experience in the fire protection industry.
N3 qualification in Plumbing or Electrical.
Knowledge of fire protection systems (sprinklers, alarms, suppression systems, pumps, motors).
Basic understanding of relevant codes and local building regulations.
Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites.
