We work with top-tier gas, wood, and fireplace systems to bring warmth and ambiance to homes and businesses across South Africa. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fireplace Installer / Technician to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a variety of fireplace systems, including gas and wood-burning,. This role requires a strong understanding of safety codes, HVAC or venting knowledge, and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Install fireplaces, stoves, inserts, and venting systems (gas and wood)
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs
- Ensure compliance with all building codes and safety regulations
- Educate customers on product use, safety, and maintenance
- Maintain clean and professional job sites
- Complete job-related documentation and reports
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in fireplace installation or as a technician (gas, wood, or electric)
- Working knowledge of gas lines, venting, masonry, or HVAC systems is a strong plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
