Purpose:
To operate the forklift safely to move stock between areas within the facility
Key duties:
- To perform and document the daily inspection of the forklift to ensure that it is in proper working condition
- Movement of stock between departments
- Loading and offloading of trucks
Minimum requirements
- Matric
- At least 3 years forklift driving experience.
- Valid forklift license
Competencies
- Ability to safely operate a F1 forklift
- Ability to safely lift and transport abnormal objects.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Ability to complete documentation accurately and clearly
- Basic numeracy ability
