Description
The General Assistant will help maintain a welcoming and hygienic centre.
Responsibilities
Housekeeping:
- Performing daily and scheduled cleaning of designated areas.
- Regular dusting of surfaces and offices.
- Maintaining sparkling windows as needed and scheduled.
- Ensuring safety by deploying "wet floor" signs when necessary.
- Conducting hourly checks and cleaning of internal staff restrooms twice daily.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Minimum 1 year cleaning experience.
Required Skills:
- Emotional intelligence.
- Good communicator.
- Effective cleaning and serving experience within an office environment.
- High cleanliness and hygienic.
Behavioural Competencies:
- Competent, self-motivated, honest, integrity, friendly.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances where required.
- Ability to work under pressure, multi task, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
- Assertive, diplomatic personality.
