HR Officer Opportunity – Champion Industrial Relations in Johannesburg

Location: Jhb
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Take the lead in representing the company at the CCMA – from conciliation to arbitration
- Drive the recruitment process for frontline branch staff, ensuring the right talent joins the team
- Compile, analyse, and present monthly HR reports to support strategic decision-making
- Partner with payroll to ensure smooth and accurate flow of HR-related data
- Serve as a trusted advisor to line managers and employees on all HR matters, with a strong focus on employee relations and compliance
- Support disciplinary processes and performance improvement initiatives with professionalism and fairness
What We’re Looking For:
Your Experience:
- 3–5 years in a generalist HR role, with at least 2 years of solid experience in industrial relations – Essential
- Hands-on experience handling CCMA matters through to arbitration – Essential
- Background in a retail or fast-paced operational environment – Advantageous
- Exposure to training or group facilitation – Advantageous
Your Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12) – Essential
- National Diploma in HR Management or similar, with focus on Labour Law or Industrial Relations – Essential
- Registered Associate with SABPP – Advantageous
You Also Have:
- A valid Code 08 driver's license – Essential
- A valid passport – Essential
- A proactive, solutions-driven attitude and confidence in dealing with conflict
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R30 000,00 - R40 000,00 per month
