What will you do?
In this servicing role you will be responsible for providing excellent client services to a portfolio of clients of SIMEKA HEALTH. You will be required to efficiently manage all claims and queries which may relate to medical schemes, gap cover, primary health insurance and loyalty related clients. This junior role will be based in Bellville, Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide an effective and efficient administrative channel between clients and service providers
- Demonstrate a good understanding of all medical scheme options and benefits, primary care insurance, gap cover and loyalty programs
- Must be able to provide multiple query resolutions
- Follow up with clients on open and outstanding requirements until query is resolved
- Manage escalated administration and any other requirements from service providers for clients
- Assist with in-bound and out-bound client calls
- Assists with email mailboxes
- Be able to log queries on the CRM system as and when required
- Provide timeous feedback and resolution on queries
- Keep ongoing records on internal CRM systems
- Assist clients with the application process and queries both telephonically and/or via e-mail
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats within a business environment
Qualifications and Experience
- Matric
- Industry related qualification (NQF level 5) is required (e.g. financial services/business admin/wealth management)
- Regulatory Examination RE5 is required
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in a healthcare environment
- Exposure to intermediary services is required
- 2-3 years’ working experience on a CRM system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Full accreditation with the Council for Medical Schemes is advantageous
- Broker tools experience advantageous
- Proficient in English & Afrikaans – both verbal and written
Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of industry regulations e.g. POPI and TCF
- Experience in managing customer relationships
- Experience in handling customer complaints
- Strong knowledge of medical scheme product and processes
- Strong knowledge of Internal and external processes including service level commitments
- Knowledge of relevant escalation channels
- Knowledge in managing and co-ordinating escalations from HR and other stakeholders
- Experience in managing customer relationships
