The IR Officer will be responsible for the entire Industrial Relations and Employee Relations function for the business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Compilation of bundles
Fact finding and preparation of cases
General administrative knowledge: e-mail, telegram, Labour relations and CCMA
Must be able to handle disciplinary proceedings and related documentation
Able to do counselling and handle grievances and associated proceedings
Effectively attend CCMA and bargaining council matters
Fully investigate matters and advise in the best interest of the company on IR related matters
Requirements:
RSA citizen and ID
Own Transport essential
Valid bank account
Clear criminal record
Good contactable references
PC Literate - Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook, Easy Roster
Well presented
Articulate and able to communicate on all levels - Face to face, Telephonic and e-mail
Valid Driver’s license
Diploma/ Degree - Labour Relations, Labour law, Human / Industrial Relations
3 years minimum experience in the security industry
Must be analytical and be able to think on their feet
Knowledge of the CCMA, Arbitration, Concilliation, Bargaining Council
Knowledge of Disciplinary Procedures and sanctions
Able to handle Pressure
Able to work as a team and well with other staff members
Able to resolve queries and discrepancies quickly, ethically and tactfully
Knowledge of DOL, LRA, BCEA, EEA

Pay: R18 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
