Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Front of House Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. You will be responsible for overseeing the front-of-house staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Customer Service and Satisfaction:
- Greeting and welcoming guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Addressing customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Monitoring guest satisfaction and proactively seeking feedback to improve service.
- Training and coaching front-of-house staff on customer service best practices.
- Ensuring all guests receive a high level of service and leave satisfied with their dining experience.
Restaurant Cleanliness and Tidiness:
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing dining room.
- Overseeing the cleanliness of tables, floors, restrooms, and other public areas.
- Ensuring proper table settings and presentation.
- Coordinating with the kitchen and back-of-house staff to maintain a clean and efficient workflow.
- Implementing and enforcing cleaning and sanitation protocols.
- Maintaining the restaurant's cleanliness and tidiness to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
Staff Management and Service Excellence:
- Supervising and motivating front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and bussers.
- Providing ongoing training and development to enhance service quality.
- Monitoring staff performance and providing constructive feedback.
- Creating a positive and supportive work environment.
- Encouraging and motivating waiters to deliver the best possible service, ensuring they are attentive, efficient, and knowledgeable about the menu.
