Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Production Manager to support the planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with senior production staff to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and organizing production schedules
- Support the allocation of resources and monitoring of production targets
- Liaise with different departments such as procurement, quality control, and logistics
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
- Help identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Maintain accurate production records and generate reports
- Support the team in resolving production-related issues
- Coordinate maintenance and repair of production equipment as needed
Requirements:
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Familiarity with production planning software and tools is a plus
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Understanding of quality control standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Contract length: 3 months
Pay: R9 000,00 - R12 000,00 per month
