Minimum requirements
- BSc. Degree in Construction Management/Quantity Surveying, or equivalent NQF level 7.
- At least 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience or
- At least 2 years of industry experience within the built environment.
Additional Recommendations:
- Good communication and lecturing skills.
- A strong passion for technology, teaching, and research.
- Experience with BIM.
- Proof of 2 years of teaching, tutoring, or practical experience at a higher education institute or private institution.
- Experience with OHS and procurement practices.
- Experience in the built environment software: WinQS, CCS, MS Project, or Revit
Summary of Duties:
- Teaching laboratory software at all levels.
- The development of technological learning materials.
- The successful candidate is expected to be actively involved in technological research and development in the department.
- Oversee the operations of the computer and practical laboratory, in maintaining existing infrastructure, software, hardware, and computing.
- Assist with departmental, administrative, and other duties as prescribed by the Head of Department.
