Requirements of the Position

· Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Manager (premium establishments)

· Trade Qualification highly advantageous

· Excellent all-rounder (Electrical, Plumbing, Building, Carpentry and Landscaping)

· Physical maintenance experience

· Grade 12 (essential)

· Driver’s licence (essential)

· MS Office Suite

Responsibilities of the Position (Summary)

· Schedule current and upcoming work assignments; distribute and sort assignments into and according to identified priorities, including emergency repairs.

· Coordinate and manage services, maintenance and repairs.

· Coordinate and manage services, maintenance and repairs to all appliances including stoves, refrigeration units, and laundry equipment and machines.

· Attend to maintenance related resident queries timeously

· Organize and schedule the workload according to business activity and identified priorities.

· Implement the property’s preventative maintenance schedule.

· Manage all upkeep tasks, keeping a daily log of activity and work orders.

· Set up and monitor periodic visits relating to maintenance contracts.

• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly safety inspections.
• Management of departmental budget.
• Coordinate and manage all maintenance and gardens.
• Efficiently and effectively assess maintenance requirements.
• Assist with the management of the landscaping and irrigation suppliers.
• Meeting regularly and follow up with the developer’s contractors on outstanding jobs.
• Management and regular checks of the security features around the estate, access control, electric fence, CCTV, fire system, evacuation drills, etc.
• Be on call 24/7 for emergencies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R25 000,00 per month
