The minimum educational, qualifications and experience that are required to perform the job competently:
1. Minimum Qualifications:
· Matric (with Maths and / or Accounting and English)
· Tertiary Qualification – NQF Level 6 or Higher
ü Recognised Quantity Surveying qualification, LLB or similar
2. Experience:
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Contract Administration within the Mining / Construction / EPCM industry
· Contract Management of a high value portfolio experience an advantage
· Construction Management an advantage
· Leading and managing a team of Contract Administrators
· In-depth knowledge of NEC & FIDIC and an ability to interpret Bespoke Conditions of Contract
· Project Management
· Litigation or dispute Management

· Understands and appreciates corporate governance requirements

· Builds and maintains relationships easily

C.2 COMPETENCIES OF THE JOB:
· Good knowledge of contractual risk and contract law
· Knowledge of EMS (Enterprise Integrity System)
· High level of business understanding
· Excellent written, verbal communication and report writing skills
· Must be adept in the use reporting systems such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
· Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance
· Interpersonal and mentorship skills
· Capable of identifying and meeting customer needs
· Negotiation capability: effective in reaching win-win agreement fairly with others
· Inferred capability to understand and apply Zero Harm principles
· A sound understanding of relevant statutes and interpretation of commercial contracts
· Ability to operate in a professional services and matrix organizational structure
· Some understanding of engineering concepts and application of knowledge
· Basic understanding of national, industry codes and standards and customer specifications
· Planning and organizing, with strong project management skills
· Capable of operating in environment of complexity
· Able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers
· A good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the discipline, and the basic requirements of other disciplines

· Demanding environment of being in the middle: supplier facing and customer facing almost simultaneously.

· Willingness to travel or to accept field assignments preferred.
