KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
1. Manage TETA Stakeholder Relations
1.1. Develop and manage TETA stakeholder relations management strategy implementation plans and
measurement;
1.2. Manage stakeholder relations meetings and events;
1.3. Manage and communicate Corporate Communication and Marketing (CC&M) processes, procedures and plans
development, implementation and compliance to the organisation;
1.2. Advise the organisation on CC&M related matters;
1.3. Establish and manage external and internal stakeholders.
2. Manage Corporate Communications and Marketing Unit Business Plan and Budget
2.1. Develop, implement and monitor the Corporate Communication and Marketing (CC&M) business plan and
objectives;
2.2. Manage the facilitation of CC&M budget development, approval and implementation;
2.3. Manage the CC&M activities and projects implementation;
2.4. Manage, authorise and report on CC&M expenditure accounts and budgets;
2.5. Manage unit expenditure against budget;
2.6. Provide mid-year budget review process input and recommendations.
3. Manage Corporate Communications and Marketing unit Operational Performance and Efficiencies
3.1. Manage and ensure CC&M staff capacity and performance;
3.2. Manage and report on CM&R risks and controls;
3.3. Manage CC&M management systems and record keeping integrity and performance;
3.4. Manage CC&M unit operations and administrative processes.
4. Manage TETA Communications and Marketing Strategic Planning
4.1. Develop and manage the TETA Integrated Corporate Communications Strategy implementation and
measurement;
4.2. Prepare TETA Integrated Corporate Communications Strategy reports.
5. Manage the TETA Image, Perception and Reputation
5.1. Develop and maintain TETA branding and visual identity guidelines;
5.2. Manage and monitor TETA brand guidelines compliance;
5.3. Manage TETA promotional materials procurement;
5.4. Prepare TETA external and internal presentation materials.
6. Manage TETA Branding and Corporate Communications
6.1. Manage TETA corporate communications and brand strategy implementation and measurement;
6.2. Develop corporate communication methods, vehicles and technologies;
6.3. Manage internal and external communications execution;
6.4. Monitor, evaluate and address internal communications implementation and utilisation.
7. Manage TETA Marketing and Events Strategy
7.1. Develop and manage TETA marketing and events strategy implementation plans and measurement;
7.2. Manage projects, events and activities budget allocations;
7.3. Create, develop, organise and maintain TETA marketing materials;
7.4. Plan, organize, execute and manage TETA events;
7.5. Manage Career Exhibitions rollout.
8. Corporate Communication and Media Liaison
8.1. Manage media monitoring and reporting;
8.2. Manage public and media relations;
8.3. Develop and manage TETA public relations and media strategy implementation plans and measurement;
8.4. Develop and manage media relations;
8.5. Manage TETA media presence.
8.6. Content and editorial management;
8.7. Reputation management;
9. Multimedia and Graphic Designing
9.1. Manage the development and implementation of design concepts, visual content creation and brand
consistency.
10. Manage TETA Online Communications Strategy
10.1. Develop and manage TETA online communications strategy implementation plans and measurement;
10.2. Manage the corporate website and other linked systems branding standards.
11. Manage Strategic Plan and Annual Performance Plan
11.1. Provide strategic contribution to the organisational strategy;
11.2. Develop a Marketing and Communications APP annually;
11.3. Provide management and oversight for the implementation of the APP targets.
12. Manage Unit Reports
12.1. Compile financial and operational reports;
12.2. Submit and present Unit operation reports.
13. Management Responsibility
13.1. Identify and monitor team and individual goals;
13.2. Manage staff time, attendance and leave according to policy;
13.3. Ensure completion of performance agreements and appraisals of self and staff on or before the due
date;
13.4. Manage/ monitor and check on personal development plans submission, approval and
implementation;
13.5. Ensure Job profiles are updated and signed annually;
13.6. Ensure communication with department staff and following up department goals;
13.7. Ensure no repeat findings in the AG management report and implement corrective actions on existing
findings;
13.8. Ensure no repeat findings in the internal audit report and implement corrective actions on existing
findings;
13.9. Monitor and check on employee capacity needs.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Experience and Qualification
  • B Degree or related qualification in Public Relations and/or Communications and/or Marketing;
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in corporate communication and marketing in the corporate or public sector,
3 years of the experience should be at management level;
  • Be prepared to travel and work overtime.
