Description of the position
Tasks related to this position include but are not limited to:
- Collecting, preparing samples
- Supporting the Marketing and Service department
- Writing technical report
- Conduct research and development
- Specifying chemical production methods, materials and quality standards
- Ensuring that chemical production methods they conform to specifications
- Performing laboratory studies of steps in the manufacturing of new products
- Testing proposed process in small scale operation
- Establishing work measurement programs
- Analyzing work samples to develop standards for labour utilisation
- Record and analyze data
- Maintain laboratory equipment ( cleaning and compliance)
- Follow procedures thoroughly
Required competencies for this position include:
- Diploma in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering (or related)
- Driver’s License
- Medical fitness for ceramic work environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail
