Are you highly organised, detail-driven, and passionate about retail and fashion? We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team at Poetry.
In this role, you’ll report into the Poetry Brand Lead but play a pivot role in supporting the full Poetry Marketing Team to ensure that key campaigns and seasonal projects run smoothly and stay on track. From maintaining campaign calendars and coordinating promotional rollouts to assisting with budget tracking and internal communication—you’ll play a vital role in connecting teams and keeping everyone aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage marketing invoices and budget tracking, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to finance.
- Maintain campaign calendars and help keep the broader team aligned with timelines and updates.
- Coordinate promotional rollouts, working across teams to brief, schedule, and deliver selected elements.
- Update Point of Sale screens and in-store display screens to reflect current campaigns and priorities.
- Support product sourcing and movement of stock for events, PR requests, and campaign needs.
- Liaise with mall marketing partners, sharing campaign content and identifying new promotional opportunities.
- Assist with production logistics, ensuring PPM’s, castings, samples, and stakeholder comms are aligned to timelines.
- Support shoot-day coordination where needed, including sample management and on-site setup.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or degree in Marketing (completed)
- 1–2 years of experience in a retail or marketing environment
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word proficiency (CANVA is advantageous)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Analytical mindset and comfort with numbers and metrics
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license and own transport
