Job Title: Medical Inventory Controller
Location: Berea, Durban
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Inventory Controller to oversee the efficient management of medical inventory, supplies, and stockroom operations. The ideal candidate will ensure stock levels are accurately maintained and aligned with the operational needs of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all medical stock and inventory.
- Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders.
- Organize and label stockroom supplies for easy identification and access.
- Monitor stock levels regularly and reorder supplies to prevent shortages.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding stock requirements.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure the stockroom environment is clean, secure, and organized.
- Maintain documentation for audits and compliance checks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with Sage Evolution is essential.
- 1-3 years’ experience in a medical warehouse management environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification or training is required.
