JOB PURPOSE
Ntiyiso Consulting Group is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Metering and Billing Consultant to play a pivotal role in our work with the client. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the successful implementation and optimization of the client's metering and billing systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Senior Consultant in all aspects of the metering and billing project, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and project scope.
- Conduct research and data analysis to assess the client''s existing metering and billing infrastructure and identify areas for improvement.
- Support the development and implementation of a strategic roadmap for optimizing Matjhabeng's metering and billing processes.
- Assist with the evaluation and selection of new metering and billing technologies (if applicable).
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key client stakeholders, including water and electricity departments, IT teams, and technical staff.
- Provide technical support and guidance on metering and billing best practices to the client's staff.
- Assist in developing and delivering training programs for the client's staff on new metering and billing systems.
- Analyze metering and billing data to identify trends and contribute to revenue collection improvement strategies.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders (with guidance from senior team members).
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the project.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in consulting, utilities, or a related field.
- Experience working on projects involving data analysis or research (a strong asset).
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working with municipalities or government agencies.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello).
Duration of Employment: Performance-based Fixed Term Contract
