Brito’s, a leading name in the South African meat industry, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead our national sales team across telesales, reps, and traders. This is a senior role focused on driving growth, expanding our footprint, and delivering exceptional value to our customers.
What You’ll Do:
As our National Sales Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage our national sales force, including telesales, reps, and traders.
- Develop and implement sales strategies that grow revenue and market share.
- Build strong relationships with key clients—growing business with existing customers and securing new national and food service deals.
- Analyse sales performance and market trends, recommending and implementing improvements.
- Assist with product development by identifying market opportunities and potential new offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with marketing and brand objectives.
- Oversee promotions, manage sales to Brito’s Meat Centres and stores, and drive customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar national sales leadership role (preferably in FMCG or food service).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, grow, and manage high-performing teams.
- A strategic thinker with solid analytical and forecasting abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel nationally as needed.
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., BCom, BBA, or equivalent) in Sales, Business, or Marketing.
Key Objectives of the Role:
- Increase the basket and volume of products sold to existing clients.
- Grow Brito’s client base across the country.
- Assist in identifying and developing new products.
- Conduct market analysis to optimise profitability.
- Drive national expansion and strengthen Brito’s market presence.
