A core part of this role is to lead a team of Business Development Managers and ensure delivery of key performance indicators such as revenue and customer targets for one of the Retail Banking segments. You will be responsible for developing a sales and growth strategy, managing existing clients, and growing the portfolio through various initiatives and channels. Additionally, you will track and influence sales activities to achieve predetermined business objectives and targets.
Are you someone who can:
- Develop a sales and growth strategy
- Establish, align, and manage target and budget goals whilst ensuring effective control of costs for a range of functional areas to increase cost efficiency
- Develop a service culture which builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations and allows others to provide exceptional client service
- Manage existing clients and grow portfolio through various initiatives and channels
- Manage the growth of active customer Account Base to increase client base
- Maximise Business Portfolio cross sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships
- Track, control, and influence sales activities with the specific aim to achieve previously determined business objectives and targets.
- Translate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects / initiatives aligned to strategic objectives with specific performance measures and control systems to track progress
You will be an ideal candidate if you:
- Have a relevant completed Bachelor’s Degree
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sales or Business Development within the banking, financial services or fintech industry
- Have Forex product and / or payments experience (highly preferred)
- Have a proven track record of delivering on sales and growth targets
- Demonstrate critical, strategic, and creative thinking abilities to develop innovative sales and growth strategies that achieve Key Performance Outcomes.
