About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Part-Time Video Editor (10 Hours Weekly). In this role, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content that aligns with the brand’s style, message, and goals. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of storytelling, proficiency in video editing software, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished final content.
- Add motion graphics, titles, captions, transitions, and other visual elements as needed.
- Incorporate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance production quality.
- Ensure brand consistency across all video content.
- Collaborate with the creative/marketing team to bring concepts to life.
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and editing techniques to keep content fresh and engaging.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio of past work.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of color correction, sound mixing, and motion graphics.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling and pacing.
- Ability to take feedback and make revisions quickly.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Experience with social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube is a plus.
Other Requirements:
- High-speed fiber internet (minimum 50–100 Mbps).
- Own laptop/desktop with external monitor.
- Stable backup power supply.
- Quality headset with a built-in microphone.
- Availability: Monday–Friday during U.S. time zones.
