Title: Project Lead – EnMS Expert
Location: Middelburg, Mpumalanga (with travel as required)
Contract Type: Fixed-term contract (9–12 months) Start Date: 1 October 2025 Closing Date: 25 August 2025
Role Purpose
AA Business Consultant is seeking an experienced Project Lead (EnMS Expert) to spearhead the implementation of an Energy Management System (EnMS) in line with ISO 50001 requirements. The Project Lead will manage project delivery, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure achievement of measurable energy savings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project inception, reporting, and overall coordination.
- Facilitate management commitment, EnMS policy development, and organisational capacity building.
- Oversee energy planning, SEU identification, and action plan development.
- Mentor teams and provide training workshops.
- Deliver final implementation reports, tools, and ISO 50001 readiness documentation.
Minimum Requirements
- UNIDO/NCPC-SA Certified EnMS Expert.
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) – Association of Energy Engineers.
- Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) – Association of Energy Engineers.
- At least 10–15 years’ experience in energy efficiency and management systems in industrial sectors.
Preferred Attributes
- Proven leadership on ISO 50001 implementation projects with verified savings.
- Strong facilitation, training, and mentoring skills.
- Experience with industrial audits and pre-certification readiness.
