Job Summary:
Leading and managing construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards while maintaining safety compliance and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors throughout project lifecycle
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and quality
- Manage contract administration including change orders, RFIs, and submittal processes
- Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues that arise during construction
- Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Review and approve contractor payment applications
- Manage project close-out procedures including punch list completion and documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in construction project management
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and industry standards
- Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Understanding of building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- PMP, LEED, or other industry certifications preferred
