The Proposal Manager ensures bid timelines, inputs, and outputs are seamlessly coordinated across departments. You will manage the proposal lifecycle from opportunity identification through to submission, providing quality, consistency, and compliance.
Minimum Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (Business Administration, Commerce, etc.)
- A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in proposal coordination or bid management.
- A minimum of 5+ years’ experience working with technical teams and enterprise clients.
- Strong project management and stakeholder alignment skills.
- Proficient in proposal automation tools and knowledge systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Bid Coordination & Timeline Management
- Own the end-to-end proposal development process for strategic RFPs.
- Schedule and manage bid team activities, including inputs from sales, legal, finance, and solution SMEs.
- Ensure timely, complete, and high-quality submissions aligned with client requirements.
- Repository & Knowledge Management
- Maintain and evolve a central repository of approved templates, case studies, and past proposals.
- Promote reuse of winning content and enforce consistent formatting and messaging.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the main point of contact for proposal status, risks, and escalation.
- Partner with Content & Design Administrator to ensure visual excellence and brand consistency
