Basic Requirements:
- Education: Grade 12.
- Previous administrative experience
- Good communication and organizational skills required
- Negotiating skills
- Time management skills
Job Requirements:
- Taking charge of full scope of Project Purchasing – placing and expediting of orders, daily liaison with suppliers, and regular feedback on project status
- Negotiating better pricing and payment terms and credit returns with suppliers
- Ensuring that Project Purchasing is in line with Cash flow Forecasting set for projects
- Managing supplier relationships
- Assisting with various other functions within the department
- Liaise with all relevant departments regarding timing of orders and expediting orders where needed
- Track orders and ensure timely deliveries
- Sourcing materials, goods, products and services where needed
- Work in a stressful environment when project timing is tight.
