Seeking an experienced Retail Regional Manager based in Maseru, Lesotho who will be responsible for effective and efficient management of all policies and procedures in the stores such as stock control, staff management, administration, finance and ensuring sales targets are achieved. Must be a citizen of Lesotho.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABLE DUTIES
- Ensure monthly turnover is achieved and or exceeded throughout the allocated stores.
- Manage and motivate staff in stores to achieve targets to align to calculated budgets.
- Provide assistance and feedback to staff and General Managers.
- Ensure policies and procedures are being adhered to in stores.
- Ensure all promotions are effectively and timeously implemented in stores. This includes markdowns, sales and all other promotions in store level.
- Effectively manage and control all Company assets, by reducing stock losses and ensuring asset registers are kept up to date.
- Ensure compliance with all HR & IR policies and action any disciplinary issues with assistance from General Manager and HR department.
- Ensure all stores are customer friendly in that they provide a safe, clean and neat environment to customers.
- Ensure proper management of administration is done such as banking daily, exchanges, inter branch transfers (IBT), in and out book, staff discounts, stock takes, spot checks, searching of staff and customers.
- Ensure proper management of staff and resolve all staff related issues.
