Champion asset-focused reliability activities that help Business Team to achieve its business objectives. This is achieved by providing guidance mentorship and being a reliability voice-of-reason to the BT.
Provide asset data that enables BT to make decisions that are consistent with long-term stable and cost-effective equipment performance.
Be responsible for long term equipment availability and cost management at BT level, through development of Periodic Maintenance Plans using RBWS to effectively assess risk vs. cost. This includes shutdown scope input, scope challenge and assisting with risk ranking.
Champion key reliability studies that are intended to drive long-lasting and cost effective asset reliability and availability. Such studies include: Life cycle cost analysis, sRCM, FMEA, ROI/IPR, obsolescence review, RCAs and equipment spares management.
Stewards the development, implementation, monitoring and review/adjustments of asset strategies in all disciplines. This includes surveillance and condition monitoring activities, IOW, spare runs, lubrication, IR scanning among others.
Use data to drive asset strategy improvement processes, i.e. bad actor management process, threats management, decisions to repair/modify/replace, optimisation of asset strategies, criticality assessment,
By use of data to assist the BT make asset related financial vulnerability risk assessment and recommendations.
Champions the Design for Reliability process for all new projects done by technical services team.
Sharing Reliability analysis and observations in AIM forum, highlighting, threats, vulnerabilities and assisting in developing recommendations and resolutions.
Develops and shares Reliability KPIs with the BT, i.e. Asset trends, MTBF, MTBR, status of sRCM, Vulnerability Meeting activities among others.
Supports investigation teams by sharing asset expertise and by providing data.
Drive reliability analysis and reliability improvement segment of BT's Tactical Plan
Support short-term equipment availability and cost management through:
Custodian of BT maintenance budget, leads analysis of the Cost reconciliation vs Budget
