Job Description: Retail Sales Assistant
Location: Cape Town, South Africa Remote Working: Remote working not available
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers as they enter the store.
Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries.
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and services offered.
Ensure shelves are fully stocked and organized.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
Handle returns, exchanges, and complaints professionally.
Assist in inventory management, including stock-taking and replenishment.
Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring a pleasant shopping environment.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store goals.
Participate in promotional activities and in-store events.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in retail sales or customer service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Basic math skills for handling transactions.
Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work well in a team and independently.
Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting tasks.
